Transportation Resources
Transportation should not be an obstacle for students seeking off campus medical care. Therefore we have complied a list of resources for students use. If you have any issues and or are facing any obstacles please contact us via email and we will help you naviagte these systems and or direct you to those who can provide further assistance.
A part of the Bard Student Resource Group, C.A.T.S provides transportation to off-campus medical (physical and mental health) appointments within 30 minutes of Bard or in Poughkeepsie. This includes therapy appointments! Please give a 48 hours notice for your appointment request. Remember to fill out a new form each time you need to request a ride. Appointments are first come, first serve, so book early! Masks are mandatory in the vehicle at this time. The hours of operation are M-F 9:00 am to 6:00 pm while Bard is in session.

Red Hook-Tivoli Bard Shuttle
The map of the shuttle route can be found here and the schedule can be found here for the 2022-2023 school year. The shuttle shops in the middle of Red Hook Tivoli. Many of the local therapists in both towns are within walking distance of these bus stops. For more information and schedules for when classes are not in session (including L&T) please visit the Transportation website.
Rhinebeck Shuttle
Bard offers a shuttle to Rhinebeck on Fridays throughout the semester. It stops at both the Rhinecliff Train Station, in case you need to travel somewhere further for a medical appointment, and in middle of town. For the spring of 2023 (Friday, January 27 through Friday, May 26) the shuttle runs as follows:

Drop off/Pick up @ Rhinebeck Municipal Lot: 12:30 PM | 1:30 PM | 3:30 PM |4:30 PM| 5:30 PM

Dutchess County Bus System (Route "C" Bus)
The Dutchess County Loop C bus is run by the county and is a great resource for students who need to naviage medical care across the County as it stops at various locations in Poughkipse, Hyde Park, Rhinebeck, Staatsburg and . It also has many stops in both Red Hook, Tivoli and even stops at the Kline bus stop (north). This bus runs Monday-Saturday (however some stops only run M-F so be sure to check your stop specifically) and is free with a current Bard Student ID ($1.75 without ID).
